Reasons To Use Housing Bureau

When you use the housing bureau, everyone wins - rates are lower, event organizers can keep participation fees down, stronger relationships with host cities are built and you give the city the opportunity to extend the welcome to you that you deserve.  These hotels support the events and want your business.    

--The housing bureau negotiates the lowest rates available with the most benefits (location, proximity to softball venue, etc.).  These hotels are expecting you and ready with directions, area information, welcome signage, etc.  The housing bureau knows each hotel inside and out and can answer any question that you might have about any hotel used by the housing bureau.

 
--The more rooms the housing bureau contracts with at the hotels, the lower the price.  In order to fill those rooms, we need you to go through the housing bureau.  If the rooms at the hotels are not filled by the housing bureau year after year, the hotels are less likely to negotiate the lowest rate available.    

--Assists the Greater Raleigh Convention and Visitors Bureau determine the economic impact that Great American Cross Country Festival and American Independent Schools XC Championships have on our city, and the main contributor is the overnight rooms used.
